LEMPI DESIGN RECYCLE is a collection made of recycled and excess fabrics. All of them are hand picked and of high quality. All the pillow cases are limited edition or unique.
In textile manufacturing a huge amount of excess material is left over every year. After producing the fabric there are a lot of left over pieces that may end up in the bin. Even more, small decor shops and manufacturers have a lot of quality fabric they can not use themselves. This is quite sad, because even the smallest pieces could be of use and made products of. On the other hand, there are a lot of small companies that need those small pieces but don't know where to ask. Luckily, there are some new brands that have noticed this fact, and started only or mostly using left over materials in their production.
LEMPI DESIGN is also worried about great material going to waste, so we decided to do something about it. If you have good quality fabric that you don´t need, please contact us at lempidesign@gmail.com. Let´s make a better world by using all we produce!
These beautiful Pillow Cases are made from excess furniture quality fabric and the center pieces are from an old promotional fabric book. The dark brown frame is made of an old curtain.
